Tainted Publications

As this winter rolls on, we at TP are here with you. Though we are in the confines of cyber-space laughing at you as you shovel all of the snow that has accumulated over this season. When we at TP are not staring at you through the ever present eye that is the perforation of reality and the cyber-world, we are busy making things awesome. Sometimes more awesome than they already are.

Danbury CT’s Sub Rosa Party. (www.subrosaparty.com) Has been going strong for the last 4 years. Josh and Dan have gotten together with the founder of Sub Rosa Party and have been making sweet succulent radio love to the idea of Danbury being an incubator for new music. We also see it as an opportunity for more art as a whole to come out of Danbury. It makes sense. Danbury CT, is between Boston, and New York City; two of the most artistic cities on the east coast. With the vision of Sub Rosa Party, Danbury is becoming a musical haven in CT.
Where does TP come in? Also from the greater Danbury Area, we are looking to help spread the word or art and music in our back yards. WXCI is a radio station in our back yard. It is also accessible. So as members of WXCI Dan, Tony, and I are bringing that message to who we can in the radio station’s limited range.
Here is our infusion of awesome.
The idea of Sub Rosa Party is growing. So we aren’t just keeping uor radio love to Danbury. We are sharing it with the world. Go to subrosaparty.com to hear our show. If you are reading this between the hours of 5:00pm and 7:00 pm (EST) on a Monday hit up wxci.org.
That’s what we have been up to. On the comic front; we are still working hard on Issue 2 of “ITGWT”. And who knows, you might even get a live action version. To see exclusive storyboards of a possible almost live action nature, go here.

So, it’s the 31st of December 2009. Lots of things have been happening for TP. Things that I really can’t talk about on teh interwebs. That’s okay, because in 2010, they will come to you in full amazing fury! Please have a happy and safe new year’s eve. And stay tuned for more liquid awesome.

ITGWT: Book 2

and much much more!

Tainted has been laying fairly dormant. We have been trying to sell copies of our first book, “In These Guys We Trust”. Things are going great creatively, as we are gearing up for our next printing, which will be ITGWT issue 2. So stay tuned!

Tainted Publications started as an outlet to self publish the graphic novel “Dark” written by co-founders Dan Sterling and Joshua Wagner. It now has become a place for indie comic and graphic novelists to present their work and receive honest critique and publishing guidance – maybe even a publishing deal with Tainted Publications. To have us consider your work, you must first send us a paragraph synopsis briefly describing the main characters and plot. We do NOT share your ideas with others. We would like to work with independent writers and artists with a story. We’re not looking for super hero books, however, we realize that a good story is a good story, so we will read your synopsis no matter what.
