Tainted Publications

Ryan and I have finished the movie script and have put it through a rigorous second draft. We are confident that it is ready for a closed door dry-read. We at Tainted Publications are very excited about this, and are using this excitement to fuel our motivation to push the work further.

On another note, the second issue of In These Guys We Trust is on it’s way. The artwork is finished and all of the files have been sent to our graphic designer for the layout and lettering. We’re looking forward for issue 2 to hit shelves *AHEM Amazon.com* soon.

Now that all of this is on the way, I started to feel like I had nothing to do, so Josh and I decided it was time to pick up an old project left on the backburner and put our focus on it again. We have recruited Ryan again to help us out and it’s already turning out better than we had anticipated

Howdy everybody, Dan here.  For the past two and a half years I have been working with a good friend on a movie script that I’m positive will have our target demographic at least mildly amused.  We’re closing in on the last couple of scenes right now and should be done within this month.

A few of things that I’ve learned while working on this project:
-I am not the most motivated person I know.
-Having a writing partner and a consistent schedule is INVALUABLE.
-When you are near the end of a movie script with a lot of action, there shouldn’t be much dialogue.
-No matter how clearly the words “EMERGENCY EXIT ONLY.  ALARM WILL SOUND” are written on the emergency exit door at Borders, someone will still open the door.
